What Types of Fishing Charters Do You Offer?

4-Hour Inshore Fishing Charter ($450): Our bread and butter offering. The most effective amount of time to hit the tides, catch fish, and make it back to seize the rest of your day.

6-Hour Inshore Charter ($550): The perfect amount of time to hit the most ideal parts of the tides, see a little more of what Jacksonville has to offer, and even have time to rest your feet for a few minutes in between shots at fish.

8-Hour Inshore Charter ($725): For the most committed and hardcore of anglers. We’ll cover the most water and tidal flow maximizing opportunities to see and catch fish on either fly or spinning.

Flood Tide Inshore Charters ($500): Seasonal. Rare. Exceptional. Truly a trip to be experienced. Based entirely on the tides and time of year.

Tarpon Inshore Charters ($600): An opportunity to shake hands with the Silver King. We pursue these fish with fly rods and spinning rods. Not for the faint of heart and certainly the most exciting thing Jacksonville has to offer inshore and nearshore. Seasonal. Select dates. Select tides. Worth every bit of effort.

What Species of Fish Can Be Targeted on a Jacksonville Inshore Fishing Charter?

Jacksonville’s inshore waters support a diverse range of gamefish throughout the year. Common targets include redfish, spotted seatrout, flounder, and black drum, with tarpon available seasonally during warmer months. Species selection and daily strategy are based on tides, water temperature, and fish behavior, ensuring the most productive approach for the conditions.

Why is Jacksonville is a Premier Inshore Fly Fishing and Light Tackle Destination?

Jacksonville is one of the most diverse and productive inshore fishing destinations in Northeast Florida. Located where the St. Johns River meets the Atlantic Ocean, the area offers a rare mix of tidal creeks, expansive flats, marsh systems, oyster bars, and nearshore structure—all within a short run. Strong tidal flow brings clean water, bait, and fish movement, creating year-round opportunities for species like redfish, tarpon, trout, and flounder. Combined with seasonal migrations, varied bottom types, and relatively light fishing pressure compared to more crowded Florida fisheries, Jacksonville provides anglers with a dynamic inshore environment that rewards those who understand tides, timing, and presentation.

What Can I Expect on a Guided Inshore Fishing Charter in Jacksonville Florida?

Unlike many fishing destinations, a day of guided inshore fishing in Jacksonville is built around conditions, not a fixed “first light” schedule.

Tides, Wind, and Water Clarity:
Trips typically begin on the outgoing tide to take advantage of water movement and fish movement. Wind and water clarity play a significant part in the decisions leading up to the day too. After reviewing the day’s plan—based on wind, water clarity, and recent fish behavior—you’ll spend the day fishing a mix of shallow flats, creeks, marsh edges, and inshore structure throughout Northeast Florida.

Fly or Light Tackle:
Whether fishing with fly gear or light tackle, the focus is on proper positioning, thoughtful presentation, and adapting to how fish are feeding that day. Instruction and guidance are provided as needed, with the goal of creating a relaxed, productive experience that matches your skill level while maximizing opportunities for species such as redfish, tarpon, trout, and flounder.
